Founded in 1993, Capital Group has grown to be Russia’s leading developer under Mr. Doronin’s leadership—working with world-class architects to develop over 71 projects totaling over 75 million square feet.
The vast experience gained at Capital Group and the synergies that exist between real estate and hospitality led Mr. Doronin to purchasing Aman. Through his role as owner of Aman — which embraces 31 luxury resorts, hotels and residential projects in 20 different countries— Vladislav Doronin has worked to improve Aman's financial health and operational efficiency in order to protect and uphold the Aman brand experience.
Alongside his business activities, Mr. Doronin is an active philanthropist and patron of the arts. Forbes magazine has described him as the "businessman who changed Moscow for the better".
A supporter of numerous charitable, environmental, healthcare, welfare and cultural improvement initiatives, Mr. Doronin was granted a 1st Grade Order by Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia.
For more than 10 years, Vladislav Doronin has been contributing to the emergence of young Russian and foreign artists. In 2009, he launched the Capital Group Art Foundation, focused on the support of major cultural projects such as the PhotoBiennale 2010, PRIX PICTET, the Albert Watson & Arne Quinze exhibitions, in addition to many others.
